Following in my grandfather’s footsteps, I started my metal fabrication career right out of Highschool as I immediately fell in love with the craft.

The knowledge I have gained throughout the years from the many talented people I have been blessed to work with has helped mold me in to the fabricator I am today.

In 2012 I received my interprovincial Red Seal Certification in metal fabrication as well as the “Award of Excellence” honor in my trade.

Having the opportunity to work in many diverse fabrication shops from the East to West Coast, allowed me to experience a multitude of fabrication disciplines, and also showed me what worked, and what didn’t.

I eventually ended up at Ramsay Machine Works Ltd.

The years spent at Ramsay’s, building and fabricating enormous multi part projects that needed to be done on time and within budget challenged me constantly, and I thrived on that. It really gave me an appreciation for what goes in to leadership. It showed me how much was involved in not only managing a team, but how important it is to lead by example and work together in accomplishing the tasks at hand. When a job has been completed properly, on time and within budget it is a great feeling for all involved.

In 2015 I set out to build and operate my own company; Steel Touch Fabrication & Design Ltd. This allowed me the freedom to vary the projects that I took on and enabled me to really focus on perfecting my craft. It motivated me to push hard, and with every new task I take on I use it as a learning experience, a way for me to continue to get better. I am very ambitious and I excel in what I do because I am never afraid to challenge myself. When you come from a very humble beginning like I do, honesty and integrity are key components of who I am. Hard work and a never give up attitude has gotten me to where I am today and will continue to propel me in to the future. I pride myself on being able to problem solve and come up with solutions that will enable the projects that my customers trust me with to come to fruition. Their confidence in my abilities keeps them coming back time and time again. I am grateful for all the support they have shown me.

Taking this next step is an exciting new chapter. Being an avid outdoorsman myself, I appreciate all recreational activities. We wanted to incorporate our love of the outdoors with our unique ability to build. With our own families in mind, (as let’s be honest, they are the center of all we do and strive for in life) we wanted to ensure that other families and people can have a safe and organized adventure of their own, no matter what their needs may be
